Bone broth is loaded glycosaminoglycan (GAG).  Glucosamine, the supplement used for joint pain, contains GAG, making it extremely beneficial for your joints by relieving any kind of joint pain.  It helps with digestion and absorption as well.  GAG acts like hormones, stimulating cells called fibroblast which provide collagen to the joints, tendons, ligaments and arteries. There are visible benefits as well. It makes your hair, skin, and nails sexy.  As we age, collagen reduces and we start seeing signs of aging.  By drinking bone broth you can increase your collagen therefore reducing signs of aging.

Bone broth heals your gut.  Some signs of gut sensitivities are- constipation, diarrhea, food sensitivities, & leaky gut.  The vital nutrient for healing the gut is gelatin, which is in in bone broth as well.  Poor diets, stress, bacterial and fungal overgrowth are all result in too little geletan.  Gut sensitivity is like inflammation in the body.  By drinking the bone broth you are reducing the inflammation and working toward healing the gut.    This is how leaky gut works.  Undigested food particles can slip through the gut lining and pass directly into the blood stream.  The immune system freaks out and starts attacking the very food you eat.  This is what food sensitivities are and your body starts attacking itself. The gelatin in bone broth helps heal the excessive holes in the gut lining.  This should be part of anyone’s diet who is dealing with gut issues, they should drink bone broth.

Bone broth reduces the need for protein in meat.  When there is plenty of gelatin in the diet the body’s need for protein in meat sources reduces by as much as 50%.  Bone broth helps get the toxins out.  The liver is the master organ for detoxification.  Detoxifying is limited by the amino acid glycine which is in bone broth.  Do yourself a favor and give your body what it needs . . . bone broth.
